 Jijamata Udyan Renamed Jijamata Udyan, the Gardens sprawl over 48 acres in Byculla and are surrounded by low income housing colonies or chawls. At the main entrance to the Gardens is a clock tower, reminiscent of Italian renaissance, and which stopped ticking a long time ago.  Museum Timings are from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm at an entrance fee of Rs 2/- per head. The Botanical Gardens boast of scores of trees, some of which are really old, and are open every day except on Wednesdays. Entrance fee is Rs 4/- per head.                  |
