| This is a group show by Mumbai’s Photojournalists. When the heavens opened on July 26, 2005, no one imagined that the deluge that followed would all but drown suburban Mumbai. Indeed, the record 954 mm of rain in less than 24 hours was the highest recorded in India in the past 100 years. All this and more, captured by Mumbai’s photographers, will be on display in this unusual exhibition. The exhibition will also coincide with the launch of a book ‘Deluge 26/7’, that features the work of 40 odd photographers. |
