| This Gujarati play is based upon PL Deshpande’s classic, Tuz Ahe Tuz Pashi, a satire, told on many levels, through the protagonist Kaka Bapu and the antagonist Acharya Atmarambapu. The play tells us of the values dear to both, Kakaji and Acharyaji, and how in the stream of their thoughts other characters are introduced and buffeted until their struggles are finally resolved. The play talks about human pawns that revolt, as they have done all along, under complex circumstances. |
