| This film,based on a true story,tells the tale of a girl child who is deaf and dumb and yet pursues her ambition to become an Odissi dancer.The film has three distinct backdrops against which,the spirit of its vision has been distilled.The sea reflects fluidity and magnificent vastness,the steel plant embodies solidity in dynamic form and the old house represents the enduring motif of shelter.This film has been screened at major film festivals throughout the world this year. |
