A self-made artist, Nandini Harish has fine-tuned her skills through a keen sense of observation and a continuous drive for improvement. She is adept at handling various mediums including ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolours and oils. She explores life from various angles, perceived in multiple dimensions and handled in innumerable ways in a rangoli. Though life may seem transient, a rangoli painted in the canvas of life leaves an everlasting impression on the beholder.
Nandini held her first solo exhibition, "Pranava", at Lakshana Art Gallery in Bangalore. Her works are conceptually strong, visually appealing, expressive and have been exhibited at Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Bangalore, and Merton Art College, London, among others. |
