| Seagram’s 100 Pipers Legends Live has a long running association with music and musicians of legendary caliber in its history. The premier fusion band in the country, SILK will perform at Seagram’s 100 Pipers Legends Live. Silk combines the rich tradition of Indian classical music to spin out tunes that are dare-devilry, vocal pyrotechnics, spontaneous improvisation, spellbinding interaction and heady. The band features name such as Shankar Mahadevan, Anandam Sivamani, Karl Peters, Sridhar Parthasarthy and Louis Banks.SILK has performed across the world and was the highlight at the Singapore National Art’s Council International Festival. SILK have have so far released their album ‘Pre Silk” in UK, through Navras records. Their most recent performance to a sold out auditorium at the Royal Festival Hall in London is slated to culminate into their second album release.Musical Artists of high caliber, who are legends in their individual genres of music, such as Shankar and Gingger, Clara Ponty, Jonas Hellborg, Gary Husband, Steve Topping, Jagjit Singh, Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan’s Amaan and Ayaan Bangash, Niladri and Taufiq Qureshi have been brought from Europe and America to perform in India under the Legends Live concerts. |
