| Flamenco is a dance of the wandering gypsies of Spain and is believed to have its roots in India. With strong Moorish influences, the style is full of raw energy. The classes will cover the technique, basic steps as well as the stylistic elements of the dance. The choreography is Guajiras, Bulerias and Farucca, which will be taught according to levels of student proficiency. The workshop is open to dancers and non-dancers, beginners and advanced students who have attended previous workshops and wish to continue training. |
