| Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal's Poor Box Productions is organising a Diwali Festival of plays. The line-up includes Shirley Valentine, Art and The Vagina Monologues. The festival will close with the premiere of Mahabanoo's first Hindi production, Lift Kara De.
Shirley Valentine, a monologue, is about a middle-aged woman who gives it all up to find a place for herself in the sun.
Art is a friendship saga that finds itself perched precariously on a painting.
Lift Kara De, is a comedy for the young the young at heart. |
