| The first major performances of the Symphony Orchestra of India, under its Chief Conductor in Residence, Aidar Torybaev, will be two performances of the ballet 'The Nutcracker' by Tchaikovsky. The New Jersey Ballet, the state’s leading ballet company, has offered exciting dance theatre statewide for more than 40 years. It has over the years established istelf as a company with a repertory of exceptional breadth and quality, with gifted dancers and an ability to perform classical to contemporary and cutting-edge works with equal aplomb. The company features principal dancers and soloists of international stature from eight countries: Argentina, Bulgaria, Colombia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia and the United States. |
