Printer program: Evaluate HP all-in-one printer

Hewlett-Packard (HP) would like to invite you to participate in an upcoming delta program for an all-in-
one (AiO) business printer. A delta program is a unique opportunity for you to evaluate and provide feedback on
your experience with a new product concept. The printer you would receive allows printing, scanning, copying
and faxing of documents and photos. If you are selected to participate in this test you will receive, at no
cost to you, everything you will need to completely evaluate the product.
We are primarily looking for home office users who run a full-time business from home, and small businesses
with between 1 and 9 employees who print and will also use the other capabilities of the product, including
copying, scanning and faxing. The evaluation period will last 8 weeks starting in mid-March and running
through mid-May 2008.
Depending on your location, the HP team would like to visit your home or office at a mutually agreed upon
time. This visit would occur after you have received the unit and have been using it for a while. This visit
would last less than 3 hours. Then, during the rest of the 8-week evaluation period, you will be asked to
complete a series of tasks using your AiO business printer. Upon completion of the tasks, you will be
asked to provide your feedback through a few online surveys. If you run into any problems or have
suggestions on how to improve the product, you will be asked to submit these problems or suggestions as well.
Note: To participate, you must be available to test the AiO printer from mid-March through mid-May 2008. (Web
registration required, see below.) ) If selected, you will be notified of acceptance into this program within
the next few weeks.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for evaluators who:
* Run a full-time business from a home office, or are
employees of small (1 to 9 employee) business
** Home Offices: Home-Based business
generating income and employing 5 or less
people.
** Micro Business: Business run from
outside the home employing up to 9
people.
* Have a need for using the other AiO functions,
including copy, scan and fax
* Can spend three to five hours per week evaluating
the product
* Willing to provide feedback online, on the phone
and in person about your experience

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The HP all-in-one printer you will be evaluating in this program is not currently available for purchase.
The term 'delta' is used to refer to a product that is still under development. As a result, this product has
not completed HP's full quality assurance program and may have errors or defects. A delta test helps HP
accomplish two goals: 1) improve the quality of the product and 2) improve the customer experience based on
the feedback received from you. We have learned that HP customers may use their products in unanticipated
ways so by placing early units in your office, HP is able to learn more about our customers and make a
better final product.
During the evaluation period we request and encourage you to report any and all problems, issues,
suggestions, comments, ideas and/or questions regarding the product to HP. You will be able to easily
communicate with HP through your personal VOConline Feedback Center.
There are specific areas of interest where your feedback will be particularly valuable. These include:
* Product set-up issues
* Error messages/defects
* Product ease of use
* Customer satisfaction levels
Our intention is to leave the product at your office for the entire evaluation period. In certain
situations, however, it may be necessary to remove the unit early. If this is the case, a prepaid FedEx air
bill will be supplied. After the evaluation period, everyone who completes all applicable To Dos and
Surveys and will get to keep the delta product as a thank-you gift for successfully completing the
evaluation.
